Other CAMBr Projects

The Garden is just one of many projects created, funded and maintained by CAMBr. Check out some of our other trail systems in the Chicago area:

Beverly Lake Hoffman Estates, IL

This trail system is used by bikers, hikers, and equestrians. Always yield to hikers and horses, and be extra nice to anyone you meet to help build a favorable impression of mountain bikers.

Deer Grove Palatine, IL

The east side has about 1.4 miles of natural surface trail, some multitrack and a paved loop. The west side has an abandoned paved road and an outer multitrack gravel loop. There is less than 1 mile of natural surface trail here.

Knock Knolls Naperville, IL

The trails are set up roughly in four loops (some with tails) that attract hikers and dog-walkers too. The singletrack is about 5.5 miles long and has a mild elevation change.

Palos Forest Preserve Willow Springs, IL

Palos is the grand-daddy of the trail systems available in Chicago. It is the largest trail system and therefore gets the most use. In all, there are some fifty miles of singletrack and widetrack trails to explore, though the legal singletrack is congregated in the western half. The area has hills, rolling widetrack, tight twisty singletrack, climbs, fast descents and plenty more to keep you satisfied for hours.

Plainfield Bike Park Plainfield, IL

The Plainfield Bike Park is a free, public, two-acre bicycle skills park which includes dirt jumps, a pump track and a skills section. The park was designed with progression and safety to allow boys, girls, young children and adults to learn bicycle handling skills in the safest environment.

Saw Wee Kee Oswego, IL

These trails offer short but sometimes steep climbs, lots of low rollers, quick turns, and winding decents. Overall elevation change here is minor, but the frequent climbs over large dirt mounds give your legs a good workout nonetheless.
