Garden Workday this Saturday!

by Daniel Peter, posted Thu September 16, 2010 at 10:46AM

Come help us clean the park and work on the new intermediate line! Work in the morning, ride in the afternoon. The grill might come out the shed as well!

This Saturday, the 18th, 10am-? Be there!

We need more dirt!

by Keith Streble, posted Mon August 16, 2010 at 9:28PM

Put the word out: The Garden needs more dirt!

We’ve come a long way this year, but we want to take things a whole lot further… and we can only do it with more dirt donations! If you know anyone.. and we mean ANYONE who has a connection to free, clean dirt, we would love to talk to them. Ask your aunts, uncles, friends-of-friends… The more people you ask, the greater chance some dirt will appear. Make sure they know we are looking for CLAY (the really thick, heavy stuff). Clay is the best for building jumps.

How to donate dirt?

  • Contact us to set up a drop time
  • Drive your dumptruck to drop spot
  • Dump the dirt
  • Receive high-fives, fist bumps, and an ice cold beverage

Why donate dirt?

  • Donating dirt is quick and easy
  • You will feel good knowing you contributed to the growth of a healthy outdoor sport for people of all ages
  • Donations are tax-deductible
  • Donations can be written off as an advertising expense (because we will thank you profusely all over the web and by word of mouth)

And as always, thanks in advance for your help!

Lovin’ that Bonebell

The Bonebell

Hey everyone, we gotta drop some much needed love to The Bonebell for being a strong supporter of CAMBr and a sponsor of the recent Garden Dirt Jam (which we mistakenly forgot to mention). If you don’t know already, The Bonebell is a great off-road content destination for the Chicagoland area. Fan their Facebook Page and check out their site, you definitely won’t be disappointed. Thanks!

PS - Bonebell also shot a TON of event photos this weekend. See the whole set on Flickr.

Settin’ Down Roots recap

by Daniel Peter, posted Mon August 02, 2010 at 12:21AM

Huge thanks to all our sponsors and everybody who came to our event to race, donate or just simply watch the action! Despite the morning rainstorm, we managed to get all trails ready by noon, and offer hours of great riding to all riders. We gave away some amazing stuff in the raffle and are hoping that all of you enjoyed the jam as much as we did.

Thanks for your support! We promise we’ll keep working hard on getting the park even more fun to ride in return.

Stay tuned for a video from the event and make sure to visit our Flickr photo group where we’ll add photos as we edit them.
